Bay Region Foot & Ankle is committed to putting the patient first. We offer same day office visits and have in office digital imaging for patient convenience. Dr. Brechtelsbauer is board certified and treats all ailments of the foot and ankle. Our office has an active durable medical equipment (DME) license and is able to dispense walking boots, diabetic shoes and orthotics, when indicated. We perform minimally invasive procedures as well as traditional surgery when necessary. Dr. Brechtelsbauer and her friendly and welcoming staff look forward to assisting you.
Dr. Brandi Brechtelsbauer is a Saginaw Bay region native. She received a Bachelors of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan in 2008. Upon earning her Bachelors of Science degree, Dr. Brechtelsbauer obtained her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio in 2012. She completed her three year Podiatric Medicine and surgical residency at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, Michigan in 2015. Dr. Brechtelsbauer practiced out of state for several years before returning to her home state of Michigan in 2021.
As a foot and ankle specialist, Dr. Brechtelsbauer brings extensive expertise to Bay Region Foot & Ankle, specializing in sports medicine, neuropathy, flatfoot reconstruction, diabetic foot care, and acute trauma. Whether it is conservative care or surgical intervention, Dr. Brechtelsbauer strives to deliver personalized, compassionate and superior patient care for relief of foot and ankle pain, consistently supported by the latest technology and evidence-based medicine.
In her free time she enjoys being with family, running, hiking and spending time at her family’s cottage in Gladwin, Michigan.
